SECURITY BREACH AT CHITTARANJAN PARK RESIDENCE

ARMED THIEF ENTERS F 1180 GROUND FLOOR  IN THE DEAD OF NIGHT !!! There was an  armed attempt of theft in F 1180, on 12th August night where there was only a 94 year old bed ridden lady and her attendant. The thief entered the house with a knife and was roaming around inside the house for more than 30 minutes.  https://www.crparkspeaks.com/2023/09/prevent-break-ins-and-ensure-safety.html The family was out of station. Despite repeated calls to CR PARK Police station, no one responded. The family just helplessly watched the show on their CCTV. After repeated calling to the station, an extremely sleepy person picked up the call and hurriedly told the caller to dial 0 after a number and disconnected. Finally an ex- beat officer of CR Park, whose number was with them came to their rescue and sent a constable. The RWA too responded and called the colony guards.  However, the time taken to reach the site from the time of call was almost 35-40 minutes, and what was scary was...

Bathing, brushing teeth, and even the simple act of washing hands became sources of worry, tainted by the uncertainty of water quality. The recurring solution was to have their tanks cleaned, a necessity they could not ignore. However, the process often felt like an intrusion – a person clad in grimy attire, chewing  paan , stepping into their water reservoirs, leaving doubts about hygiene lingering like an unwelcome mist. It was perplexing – was their tank cleaner truly sanitizing the water or potentially introducing new health risks? Shikha and Vincie...

Tributes To Tagore On His Punya Tithi

On the solemn occasion of the 22nd of Shraban, as the winds of time carry us to this day, we remember a soul whose eternal brilliance illuminates the world with his profound philosophy and timeless creations. Rabindranath Tagore, the bard of Bengal, continues to be an eternal flame in the hearts of people around the globe. His poetry and melodies transcend borders, cultures, and languages, touching the very essence of human emotion. He was not just a poet; he was a visionary, an artist, a philosopher who dared to dream beyond the confines of his era. Rabindranath had turned more and more philosophical, as his twilight years approached. Around this time, fifteen new volumes appeared, among them prose-poem works Punashcha (1932), Shes Saptak (1935), and Patraput (1936). Experimentation continued in his prose-songs and dance-dramas— Chitra (1914), Shyama (1939), and Chandalika (1938)— and in his novels— Dui Bon (1933), Malancha (1934), and Char Adhyay (1934).  Tagore's respect expande...

Jahanpanah , meaning the “Refuge of the World” was the fourth city of Delhi founded by   Mohammed bin Tughlaq. Though there are hardly any remnants of the new city   built by Tughlaq worth mentioning   , the forest itself is the much needed “Green Lungs” in the midst of the gasping populace living in the adjoining areas. It was on 10.04.1980, through a notification by the Development Department Delhi Administration in Delhi Gazette, Jahanpanah City Forest was declared as a protected forest area under Section 29 of the Indian Forest Act, 1927 and the boundaries of Jahanpanah City Forest were demarcated. Jahanpanh Forest , covering an area of 435 acres, is full of rich and some very rare Flora and Fauna,   but unfortunately the jungle and its denizens   themselves are at the receiving end and chocking and gasping due to the apathy of the very populace it provides   fresh oxygen . Though several writs have been filed on various dates over the years , and...
