Winter Wellness: Harnessing the Power of Nuts, Seeds, and Dry Fruits for a Healthier You

Elevate Your Seasonal Nutrition with Nature's Bounty for Immunity, Energy, and Warmth

Winter means warmth, winter means more immunity and winter means more care. So residents, we officially announce winter with a healthy dose of nutrition and immunity for all of you.

Pack these punches into your daily diet and knock out all seasonal illnesses and glow with the goodness of all these natural superfoods that inherently inhabit all our kitchens.

Dry roast a handful of Almonds, walnuts, and pistachios along with some sunflower, pumpkin, melon and chia seeds. Keep them in an airtight bottle. Grab a handful every morning with your hot “chai” instead of the regular marie biscuits. Feel your body warming up to the heart-healthy fats, protein, and vitamin E along with omega-3 fatty acids. These magic combinations will infuse that huge immunity boost into your body with all those good fats.

Keep a jar of apricots, figs, munakka (large raisins), cashew and dates handy on your dining table or breakfast counter. Snack on them to ward off the hunger pangs, lose weight and fulfill your daily supply of a range of vitamins and minerals.

The combination of seeds and dry fruits also help you to suppress your sugar craving, thus controlling your blood sugar.

A morning dose of these superfoods, will give you a solid digestive system all through the harsh winter, while maintaining your weight, vitals and energy levels.

Be sure to continue your daily walks though! Ditch the morning, adopt an early evening walk to the nearest park and be back before the chilly evening sets in. Warm yourselves with a hot chai or milk and some of the magical nuts and seeds after dinner. Sleep off like babies!
