CAR THIEVES STRIKE WITH AUDACITY

BRAND NEW CAR STOLEN FROM BACKLANE OF CR PARK POLICE STATION Security News Alert: Newly Purchased Car Stolen from CR Park Raises Alarming Questions CR PARK SPEAKS DELHI  4TH NOVEMBER , 2024 In a brazen act of theft, a brand new car, only four days old, was stolen from I Block of CR Park, Delhi. What makes this incident even more shocking is that it occurred in close proximity to the large police station in CR Park, merely in the back lane, highlighting significant security lapses in the area. Key Concerns Raised: 1. Absence of Night Watch: Was there an assigned night watchman for I Block during the time of the theft? If so, what was their position and level of activity during the incident? 2. Beat Constables' Presence: Where were the patrolling beat constables when the theft occurred? Is there a routine night patrolling schedule in place, and was it followed on that night? 3. Dealership Accountability: Given that the stolen vehicle was new, could there be a potential security...

Reflections On Childhood Memories

My First Days in Chittaranjan Park: From Loneliness to a Life of Adventure Reflections On Childhood Memories, Community Spirit, and the Changing Landscape of C R Park in the 1970s   By Saibal Ghosh It was an early morning of a foggy winter day in December 1976 that I woke up in Chittaranjan Park for the first time! As an eleven year old, looking around with both trepidation and a sense of loss and sorrow, this place seemed to offer an opportunity to explore but also gave a sense of being thrown at the outskirts of civilisation! With my spirits down due to leaving behind a vibrant group of friends and a comparatively ‘happening’ neighbourhood of Sector 1, R K Puram, my little heart wrenched at the idea of having to spend lonely and forlorn evenings!   Wherever I looked, I saw unfinished houses, empty plots of land, with some completed homes strewn here and there - as if consoling me and assuring me, “we are here, we are here”. Oh! Where will I get my faithful band...

ELIMINATE ALL PIGEON FEEDING GROUNDS OF DELHI

Restoring The Serenity Of Pigeon Triangle Near B Block , CR PARK Vandalism Of The Space By Feeders And Encroachers Chittaranjan Park, known for its vibrant community and serene atmosphere, has been home to numerous green spots and spaces. One such spot was the triangle near B Block and Nehru Apartments which was cleaned and beautified by our local authorities. However, in recent times, this once beautiful space has fallen victim to vandalism, losing its charm and becoming an eyesore for residents.  Littering and destruction of property have transformed this once serene space into a disheveled corner of the neighborhood. Such acts not only disrespect the community but also diminish the overall quality of life for residents who seek peace and tranquility in their surroundings. We need to recognize the importance of preserving and revitalizing such spaces. Efforts need to be made to remove the damage caused and restore the area's beauty. Recognizing the importance of restoring the bea...
