Dear Readers,

We bid adieu to Maagh and greet Phalgun!

As the crisp air of winter begins to soften into the early hints of spring, the month of February forms the confluence of Maagh and Phalgun - when it bridges the cold retreat of winter and the blooming promise of Spring.

For Chittaranjan Park, this is a time of bidding goodbye to the last remnants of “Nolen Gur” and celebrating the onset of “Bosonto” with Saraswati Pujo - the Goddess of Wisdom, Intellect and Knowledge. And that formally ushers in Spring with the numerous parks and gardens abounding in full bloom at this time.

CR Park gets ready to host “Bosonto Melas” and warm and cozy lunches at various associations’ premises with a promise to stay connected with its members with new and better things in future. Such energetic events, addas at street corners, and preparations for Dol-Jatra start taking shape, reminding us that every season has its rhythm, and we are lucky to dance to it together.

This edition of CR Park Speaks brings you stories, voices, and reflections from our vibrant community. From exploring our heritage to engaging with pressing local concerns, we celebrate what makes our para special. As always, we invite you to be part of the conversation—because this magazine is not just about CR Park, it is CR Park speaking.

Wishing you all an enriching and joyful advent of Spring!

Warm regards,

The CR Park Speaks Editorial Team
